ABOUT LILLY

I am a contemporary artist, living on the edge of the countryside in Weedon, a small village in Northamptonshire.
I have been working on narrative paintings with subject matter drawn from what I see and experience around me including the Bible. Landscapes and portraits also feature in my work.
I run after school art clubs for primary school children, as well as projects for residencies in schools.
Besides the after school art clubs, I have created the backdrops for school plays, murals in school halls and on external school walls. The children play a major role in the painting of these projects.
My paintings are mainly in oil, acrylic and watercolours. I love colour, detail and pattern, which is hopefully inspiring to viewers.

Commissions are always a welcome challenge.
